Binance will delist Epic Chain (EPIC) and QuickSwap (QUICK), removing all spot trading pairs for both tokens on October 28.
The exchange said it decided to delist the tokens after its most recent reviews. Binance lists trading volume, development activity, and team commitment among the factors it considers.
QUICK Sinks While EPIC Claws Its Way Back After Binance Delisting Announcement
QUICK fell about 10% below its pre-announcement level on Binance after the notice went live. Roughly 17 minutes later, the token was still trading 6.69% lower, according to TradingView data.
EPIC also slid about 9% from its pre-announcement level. It then recovered within the same window, trading 5.61% above that mark.

Steep losses after Binance delisting notices have repeated across recent rounds. In August, ICON (ICX) and Secret (SCRT) sank to fresh all-time lows, losing 12.5% and 18.8% after the exchange’s notice.
Earlier that month, PIVX dropped 19.27%, and Vulcan Forged PYR (PYR) shed 18.31% after a separate announcement.
Vanar (VANRY) was the exception, trading 8.23% higher despite early losses, a move similar to EPIC’s rebound today. Losing a Binance listing typically drains liquidity and pushes holders to exit before trading ends.
Notably, both tokens spent months under Binance’s Monitoring Tag before this decision. QUICK received the label on April 30, while Binance added EPIC on May 22.
The exchange applies the tag to tokens it considers more volatile and risky than its other listings. It also warns that tagged assets may eventually fail its listing criteria.
The Countdown Traders Need to Track Before October 28
Binance will wind down EPIC and QUICK across its products in stages, starting this week. Here is what ends and when.
- October 15: Binance suspends margin borrowing for both tokens and removes them from its Buy & Sell Crypto service.
- October 20: Users can no longer open new futures positions, and Binance settles all EPIC and QUICK contracts. The same day, it closes outstanding loans, removes both tokens from margin trading, and drops them from Binance Pay.
- October 21: Spot Copy Trading delists both pairs and force-sells any remaining assets at market price. Simple Earn also redeems Flexible and Locked positions into users’ Spot Accounts.
- October 28: Spot trading ends, all open orders are removed, and Trading Bots stop running on both pairs. Binance Convert and Gift Card also drop the tokens.
- October 29: Deposits of EPIC and QUICK will no longer be credited to user accounts.
- December 28: Binance stops processing withdrawals of both tokens.
- December 29: Binance may convert leftover balances into stablecoins, though the exchange said conversion is not guaranteed.
This schedule gives traders 6 days to close leveraged positions and 2 weeks to exit spot holdings before Binance halts trading.
