CryptoPunks leads NFT surge with US$825K in daily sales

CryptoPunks returned to CryptoSlam’s daily NFT throne on Monday with US$825,446 in sales.

CryptoPunks has the third-highest all-time sales volume in the industry with US$2.87 billion.

The Ethereum-based collection snatches the top position from DMarket which ranked second on Monday’s sales chart with US$746,474.

DMarket is less than $10 million away from becoming the 14th NFT collection in history to join the half-billion dollar club, while Mythos Chain — where the collection resides — is about US$2 million from the US$500 million mark.

Mythos Chain is on pace to breach the mark this week, which would make it the 11th blockchain to do so, CryptoSlam data shows.

The second-ranking collection for the day is DMarket, which operates on the Mythos Chain. DMarket’s daily sales amounted to US$746,474, with a massive number of unique buyers at 3,732 and sellers totaling 3,148. The Mythos Chain, celebrating its first mention in today’s report, saw a total of US$746,474 in sales. DMarket’s performance has contributed to the Mythos Chain’s all-time sales volume of nearly US$497.93 million.

Meanwhile, Polygon-based Fashion Girl closed Monday as the third-ranking collection with US$608,982. It got a slight bump from the US$529,000 it recorded in its debut on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Immutable’s Guild of Guardians Heroes and Ethereum’s Bored Ape Yacht Club, ranked fourth and fifth respectively.

Guild of Guardians Heroes saw a daily sales volume of US$422,847 with 491 unique buyers.

Bored Ape Yacht Club generated US$378,692 in sales with 13 unique buyers.

The Ethereum led all blockchains in NFT sales on Monday with US$3.84 million.

It experienced a slight uptick from US$3.38 the previous day.
