MicroStrategy disclosed that its Bitcoin accumulation arm, Strategy, bought 13,390 bitcoins between 5 and 11 May for about $1.34 billion, paying an average $99,856 per coin. The purchase was confirmed in a statement posted by Executive Chairman Michael Saylor on 12 May.
The transaction raises the company’s holdings to 568,840 bitcoins, acquired for roughly $39.41 billion at an average price of $69,287. Saylor said the position has generated a 15.5% Bitcoin-denominated yield so far in 2025.
