Ethereum (ETH) has surged to $2,500 per token, its highest price since February. The cryptocurrency saw a 22% increase on May 8, followed by further gains, culminating in a 40% rise over three days, the largest such increase since January 2021. Additionally, ETH experienced a 26% increase in 24 hours and a 35% rise over three days.
Over the past 30 days, Ethereum has outperformed Bitcoin with a 2:1 ratio, and it has risen by 80% during this period. The cryptocurrency has also seen a 70% increase from its recent bottom and an almost 60% rise over a few weeks. Despite the surge, Ethereum-related ETFs experienced $42 million in outflows.
